Exterior and interior finish:
Alcove is made with robust, high-gauge aluminium, powder coated in a variety of colours, toughened and laminated, acoustic glass and solid walls comprising seven layers of acoustic materials. Choose from a variety HPL laminate colours for solid walls and a variety of fabric colours for the interior.
Connectivity
The meeting pod comes with two fast-charging USB ports, ethernet port, two power sockets (UK) and concealed cable provision for the TV on the back wall.
Lighting
Movable LED spotlights on tracks offer smart and elegant versatility. They can be angled and adjusted in any way you like.
Ventilation
An ultra-quiet ceiling ventilation fan ensures that the air inside the booth is refreshed at a constant rate.
Toughened acoustic glass
We use toughened and laminated glass for a high degree of soundproofing and to keep you safe. Toughened glass is also much better at resisting scratches.
Built for high-frequency use
Our podsare built to last. We use high-grade aluminium, heavy-duty hinges and other fixtures and joinery techniques that do not compromise on functionality and a long life. At the same time, we have ensured that our pods are easy to assemble for a two-person team.
Acoustics
The Alcove has a noise rating of 30dBA. In addition to acoustic glass, within our solid walls, we use best-in-class acoustic foam for improved elastomeric noise control offering you a quiet sanctuary for focused work and calls. 20mm open cell acoustic foam is combined with 50mm insulation made from renewable sources (recycled glass bottles).
Fabric
The interior of the solid walls of our pods are upholstered using premium fabric with a high-density foam lining for a warm and elegant aesthetic and high durability. We offer a wide range of colours, textures, and materials. All upholstery materials conform to the BS5852 flammability requirements.
FSC-certified teak wood
We use treated, kiln-dried forest teak for making several of the pod’s fixtures and fittings such as door handles, trims and door stoppers. Teak is one of the most elegant and durable hardwoods. The teak we use is FSC-certified, a globally recognised certification system framed to ensure that the forests are managed sustainably.
Assembly
Free assembly is included with purchases of two or more meeting pods for customers in the Greater London area.
For all other customers, we offer an assembly service that is costed based on distance from London and the number of units required. The meeting pod will arrive in flat-packed modules and assembly can be completed within 1 hour by two people. A 5-meter external power cable lets you simply plug the booth into the mains and start using it straight away.
2-year warranty
We offer a two-year warranty on all our products as standard, covering the cost of repairs and replacement due to a manufacturing defect. We ensure the quality of the design and workmanship of all our products and expect them to provide a lifetime of enjoyment.
Customers have the option to extend the warranty by an additional two, three or five years for an extra cost.
